Apple iPad Mini & Accessories

A few years back, Apple introduced the original iPad and a new mobile device sector was released: tablets. After a while, the guys at Cupertino decided to establish themselves in the 7 inch tablet market as well with the iPad mini.
The iPad mini is not your standard 7 inch tablet, since it carries a 7.9 inch screen. You get a bit more pixel real-estate than any other 7 inch tablet.

Since the new iPad mini 2 with Retina display was released, the price on the original iPad mini started to drop and now's a great time to invest in one if you've never had the change to play with an iOS device.

The screen displays a good 1024x768 pixel resolution, but the real design excellence comes with the brushed aluminum chassis.

Most tablets nowadays come encased in plastic covers, but the iPad line was intended as a premium tablet and it uses that aluminum finish which adds a lot ot the premium feel of the device.

On the inside, the iPad mini uses a dual-core A5 processor, which is powerful enough to run pretty much any of the hundreds of thousands of apps you can find in the Store.

The tablet comes equipped with a plethora of features. Aside from the advanced cameras, the iOS operating system, the faster, more compact Lightning connector and the 10 hour battery life, the Apple iPad mini tablet is not just another tablet, but a top premium device.

Like all other Apple products, the iPad mini is a beautiful device. Its design combines seamless edges, and a brushed metal back. It is literally unrivaled in the 7 inch tablet market.

It's just 7.2mm thick and weighs 308 grams. It's twice as heavy as the iPhone 5.  The aluminum chassis shares the same color finish with the iPhone 5. There are the dark slate and the white silver options to choose from.

The iPad mini is a great starter tablet for those looking to try the iOS experience. If you're an Android fan, the switch will seem a bit difficult, but in the end you'll love your iDevice.

Here are a few accessories you have to get for your new iPad mini:
